Europe, late middle ages, two knights meet on the battlefield, one is a Germanic mercenary, the other, a noble English knight. Both knights are clad entirely in handforged steel armor, wearing a helmet such as this Bascinet with pointed nose, referred to as a Pigface Bascinet. Both parties duel for blood, dishing out the latest in tactics and the finest in gear. Sword strikes make brief contact with the front of the face but are no match for the Bascinet helmets unique design.

Fast forward to today, finding a perfect replica of the Pigface Bascinet helmet in authentic handforged steel is darn near impossible, bar making one yourself. For a limited time while supplies last, now you can own one of these historical and functional battlefield replicas. It is the real deal, and features fully forged construction with peened and forged steel rivets. Brass has been laid upon the steel and also acts to reinforce the common contact edges. When wearing armor helmets, a cotton padded coif should be worn to aid in cushioning during combat or reenactments. Oiled for preservation of the metal.
