Set of two (one pair)!
Chainmaille gauntlets have been used for hundreds of years for battle and fighting, but also by craftsmen, fishermen, and hunters for daily tasks.
Even today divers use chainmail gloves when diving in dangerous waters to protect from razor sharp teeth or debris.
This pair of handmade armor fits adult sized hands and is forged from mild steel.
Each glove covers the hand in steel links entirely, there is no false or leather side, it surrounds the hand in steel maille.
They are made as a functional reproduction of the iron and steel chainmaille worn by knights and other fighters during the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries.
Also, these gloves are fully functional and made to last.
Best worn over a pair of thick padded cotton or leather gloves for comfort and impact cushioning.
During storage, we recommend coating the steel with a silicone or oil-based protectant such as Ballistol or WD-40 Silicone products.
