Campfires and cooking have gone hand in hand since man stood upright and could strike a spark. This pan is lightweight and sturdy, weighing about 4.5 pounds, yet has excellent static heat conductivity traits. The handle on the top would allow you to carry the pot or hang it over a fire. These types of implements were often used to boil liquids and thoroughly cook food, or even in crafts-making.

Full sized medieval cooking and camping pan, similar to what was used by travelers and even soldiers in Europe during the iron age. It is actually made of steel and iron cast and hand forged, completely made by hand with each piece having its own distinct features. You could place this as a decoration or over a fire at the Renaissance Festival. We do NOT recommend cooking food for consumption with this pot unless you know how to properly clean steel and iron cooking surfaces. There is NO non-stick coatings to worry about scratching, and iron has a tendency to tarnish or rust when exposed to water and water-based foods.
